PSF Islamabad: From October 31 to November 4, four Pakistani squash players will compete at Cheongju International Squash Stadium, Korea for the 21st Asian Squash Team Championship.
A press release issued here on Sunday stated that Pakistan will only be participating in the Men’s event.
There are four players, including Hamza Khan, Noor Zaman, Ahsan Ayaz, and Farhan Mehboob. A team manager, coach, and physical trainer will accompany the players, along with Wing Commander Ali Saud Hassan (manager).
Two pools were formed with 12 men’s teams each. India, Qatar, Pakistan, Kuwait, Korea and Taipei were placed in Pool-A whereas, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Japan, Iran, Philippines and Singapore are in Pool-B.
During the evening session of October 31, Pakistan’s first game will be against Taipei, and its second game will be against Korea.
