RECEPTION OF US JUNIOR SQUASH CHAMPION
The US Junior Open Squash Championship was held at Philadelphia (USA) between 14 – 17 December, 2024. The world’s largest individual squash tournament with 1,007 players representing fifty-one nations–saw just three nations earn titles as Egypt, the United States and Pakistan . Mr Harmas Ali Raja, an upcoming squash player from Rawalpindi (Pakistan) also participated in Boys U-11 age group. The player showed outstanding performance and won Gold Medal in the championship.
After the historic victory, the player was given a warm reception by Pakistan Squash Federation on his return at Islamabad International Airport today (31 Dec-24). Apart from the PSF Officials and staff, a large number of players, coaches and squash lovers also attended the welcome activity. The player was brought to Pakistan Squash Federation in the form of rally and was further accompanied to his residence in Rawalpindi City.
President and Senior Vice President Pakistan Squash Federation appreciated the outclass performance and sent a message of congratulation to Mr Harmas Ali Raja for the brilliant victory during prestigious event of Squash in USA. It is expected that he would continue to put more hard work and would further improve his game skills for brining more honours to Pakistan in the game of Squash.
