It is with great sadness that Aftab Javed, a squash legend, has passed away at the age of 88. Aftab Javed was an iconic figure in the world of squash, with numerous accolades, including three British Amateur championships (1963, 1964, and 1965) and three runner-up finishes at the British Open (1966, 1967, and 1971). He also arranged the PIA squash tour and served as Pakistan’s national coach, leaving a lasting impact on the sport. His contributions to Pakistani squash will always be remembered. Heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the squash community.
