(WSF Level I & II Coaching Courses)
1. As part of PSF ongoing commitment to the development of squash coaching in Pakistan, the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) is pleased to announce the initiation of the selection process for the World Squash Coaching (WSC) Level I and II courses which is going to be held from 15 Jan till 24 Jan, 2024.
2. In accordance with the guidelines outlined in the WSC document, we invite all associations & departments to forward the names of individuals who are interested in participating in the WSF Level I and II courses. The criteria for participant selection is provided below (Salient features extracted from WSC document) for your reference. Actual WSC document is available on:-

3. Please ensure that the names of potential candidates along with the required documents are submitted to us by Jan 01, 2024. The submitted names will undergo scrutiny and further action by the PSF.
4. We encourage you to carefully review the specified criteria, especially focusing on factors such as age, coaching experience, and communication skills, to ensure that the nominated individuals meet the necessary pre-requisites.
5. Registration fees for both Level I & Level II courses are mentioned in said criteria. In addition, obtaining the coach spin registration is responsibility of the individual candidates.

Criteria’s
To make the participant selection process more specific for WSF Level I & II courses in Pakistan, following criteria has been extracted from the guidelines given in World Squash Coaching (WSC) document: –
FOR WSF LEVEL- I
1. Age and Basic Skills:
- Participants must be at least 17 years old with a basic demonstration skill set.
2. Coach SPIN Registration:
- All participants must have a valid Coach Registration with a current SPIN.
3. Educational Background:
- No specific educational background required, but participants should have the basic understanding of squash.
4. Endorsement by National Federation or Region:
- Participants must provide a letter of endorsement from their National Federation or Region supporting their participation.
5. Coaching Experience:
- No minimum coaching experience required, but preference given to those with prior coaching exposure.
6. Communication Skills:
- Basic communication skills will be assessed through a brief interview during the selection process.

FOR WSF LEVEL- II
1. Completion of Level I or Equivalent RPL:
- Participants must have successfully completed WSF Level I or provide evidence of equivalent Recognized Prior Learning.
2. Coach SPIN Registration:
- All participants must have a valid Coach Registration with a current SPIN.
3. Minimum Coaching Experience:
- At least one year of coaching experience is required for Level II participants.
4. Endorsement by National Federation or Region:
- Participants must provide a letter of endorsement from their National Federation or Region supporting their participation.
5. Performance in WSF Level I:
- Level II candidates should demonstrate satisfactory performance and progress in WSF Level I.
6. Communication Skills Assessment:
- An in-depth assessment will be conducted to evaluate participants’ communication skills, essential for more advanced coaching.
7. Commitment to Renewal:
- Participants should express commitment to fulfilling renewal requirements for maintaining their Level II coaching qualifications.
8. Regional Representation:
- Ensure representation from different regions of Pakistan to promote geographic diversity.
9. Notification and Confirmation Process:
- Selected participants will be notified officially, and their confirmation will be sought within a specified timeframe.
10. Feedback Mechanism:
- Participants will be encouraged to provide feedback on the selection process to continuously improve its effectiveness.
