The 34th National Games Squash Finals witnessed thrilling matches and exceptional displays of skill and determination from both male and female players. 1st Round – 27-05-2023:

  1. Nasir Iqbal representing Wapda received a bye.

Final – 29-05-2023:

In a highly anticipated showdown, Nasir Iqbal representing WAPDA displayed exceptional prowess and emerged victorious against Ashab Irfan from the Army. Nasir Iqbal secured a decisive 3-0 win with an impressive match score of 13/11, 11/7, 11/7. The intense battle between these skilled players lasted for 33 minutes, showcasing their incredible talent and determination.

With this remarkable victory, Nasir Iqbal proudly secured the prestigious Gold Medal, solidifying his position as the champion of the tournament. Ashab Irfan, despite the loss, showcased remarkable skill and was rightfully awarded the Silver Medal for his outstanding performance.

  2. Tayyaba representing PB was defeated by Ilsa Imran from HEC with a score of 3-1 in a 17-minute match.
  3. Fehmina, representing HEC, emerged victorious against Marzia from BAL with a score of 3-0 in just 11 minutes.
  4. Amna Fayyaz representing Army defeated Zaynab Hamid from Army with a score of 3-1 in a 25-minute match.
  5. Roshna Mehboob representing PB achieved a win against Sahra from BAL with a score of 3-0 in a 12-minute match.
  6. Sehrish Ali from Sindh received a walk-over against Sameera from Navy.
  7. Mahnoor Ali from Sindh was defeated by Hira Aqeel from KP with a score of 3-0 in a 16-minute match.
  8. Zohra from KP lost to Mehwish Ali from Wapda with a score of 3-0 in a 14-minute match.
